I’m a little in love with this new print magazine, Canvas, that my colleague Matt Feldman at Millmar Paper introduced to me. Today, I spotted a call-out box entitled, “Let them know you have it” in a back issue focused on the Next New Thing. The article addressed selling ancillary product to your core business as a means of bouncing back faster from the recession. I thought the message was so smart and obvious at the same time.
It boils down to this — feature the new product on a unique landing page of your website, display it in your office, and sample the product to your customers. In other words, let them know you have it!
